Antes que nada, me presento. Me llamo Sandra y este año voy a iniciar el segundo curso del grado superior de Gráfica Publicitaria, en Cádiz. Desde que soy pequeña siempre me ha gustado dibujar aunque nunca me lo planteé como un trabajo en el futuro. Hasta hace unos años. 

Allá por el 2009 decidí seguir el camino que me gustaba y quise entrar en los únicos estudios oficiales que podía realizar en ese momento en mi ciudad, aunque tuve mala suerte y lo único a lo que podía optar ya se había pasado de fecha y el cupo estaba completo, esos estudios eran lo que ahora mismo estoy cursando. Como no podía estar sin hacer nada, entré en otro grado superior y lo terminé en sus dos años correspondientes.

En el 2011, por fin, logré mi objetivo que era entrar en el mundo del diseño y las artes gráficas y este 2013 terminaré lo que empecé. Más adelante me gustaría mucho continuar estudiando en cursos de animación en 3D, si la economía lo permite.

A pesar de que voy ya para los 23 años, mi nivel aun es bastante mejorable y la competencia es altísima; no me rendiré. Tengo un sueño en mente y es llegar al cine de animación, pasando por realizar trabajos de ilustración allá donde pueda. Incluso me gustaría, como meta personal, realizar comics y cortometrajes. Es un camino largo y duro, pero todo es echarle tiempo y ganas.

Este blog lo he creado con dos objetivos: el primero es para mostrarles mis obras y darme a conocer poco a poco, que la gente vea mi evolución; el segundo, es para obligarme a mí misma a pintar constantemente para no dejarlo abandonado y así, entrenarme cada día. Espero que os guste lo que hago y, por supuesto, cualquier persona que esté dispuesta a hacerme una crítica constructiva, es bien recibida. También me alegraría mucho que otros artistas contactaran conmigo, siempre he estado "sola" en cuanto a mi afición, así que sería agradable charlar con gente con mis mismos gustos y forma de vida.

First of all, I introduce myself. My name is Sandra and this year I’m starting the High-Level Technical Degree in Publicitary Graphic second year, in Cádiz. Since I was a child I’ve always liked drawing but I never raised it myself as a future job. Until a few years ago.

Back in 2009 I decided to follow the way that I liked and I wanted to join in the only official studies that I could do in that moment in my town, although I had bad luck and the only I could opt was already passed of date and it was full, these studies were what I’m studying right now. As I couldn’t be doing nothing, I joined in other high-level technical degree and I finished it in its two corresponding years.

In the 2011, finally, I achieved my goal that was to get in the design and graphics arts world and this 2013 I’m finishing what I started. Later, I would like a lot to continue studying 3D animation, if economy allows.

Despite of I’m turning to 23 years old, my level is quite improvable yet and the competition is too high; I will not surrender. I have a dream in my mind and that is to get in animation films, through making illustrations works wherever they may can. Even I would like, as a personal goal, making comics and short films. Is a long and a hard way, but all is taking time and desire.

This blog I have created it with two objectives: the first one is to show you my works and to let me know little by little, to let people see my evolution; the second one, is to obey myself to draw constantly, to train myself every day. I hope that you like what I make and, of course, any person who is ready to make me a constructive criticism is well received. I would like a lot that others artists contact with me as well, I’ve always been “alone” about my hobby, so it would be nice to talk with people with my same likes and lifestyle.
