Dibujos para un compañero de clase

Un compañero de clase tuvo la buena idea de comprarse una libreta y hacer que todos se la rellenemos con nuestros dibujos. Aquí dos míos:

El primero es en honor a nuestro "Equipo Cebra" (cosas de nosotros...)
El segundo está basado en la protagonista de "La leyenda de Korra".

A classmate had a great idea, he bought a notebook and made us to draw on it. Here are mine:

The first one is in our "Zebra Team" honor (our stuff...)
The second one is based on the principal character of "The legend of Korra".

Primera prueba de 3D en Photoshop. First 3D Phosothop test

Hecho con CS6, yo tengo CS5 en mi casa y es muy diferente, me pondré PS CS6 cuando pueda (Illustrator lo dejaré como está, que no me gusta como está en el 6).
PD: Tiene mil fallos, era para conocer las herramientas.

Made with CS6, I have CS5 at home and it's so different, I'll have PS CS6 when I can (I leave Illustator as it is, I don't like how's in 6).
PS: It has a thousand mistakes, it was to know the tools.

Ilustración de Caperucita - Red Riding Hood Illustration

Siento mucho este parón, he estado bastante ocupada. Hoy os presento una ilustración que nos mandó el profesor de medios informáticos, teníamos que realizarlo en Photoshop a partir de un pequeño cuento de Caperucita y el estilo era libre.
Yo elegí la parte en la que Caperucita se encontraba con el lobo en el bosque.

Me gustan este tipo de ejercicios porque puedo ver los diferentes resultados de mis compañeros de clase. Lo siento por ustedes, pero sólo veréis el mio jejejje.


I'm so sorry for this stop, I've been quite busy. Today I show you an illustration that my teacher sent to us, we had to made it with Photoshop from a little tale about Red riding hood, and the style was totally free.
I chose the part when Red riding hood found herself with the wolf in the woods.

I like this kind of exercices because I can watch the differents results from my classmates. I'm sorry for you, but you just watch mine heheheh.

Ilustración vectorial libre

Bien... no sé ni por donde empezar, ahora mismo acabo de terminar esta ilustración, está recién sacada del horno y estoy tan cansada que me falta darle un vistazo final para ver si hay que retocar algo, pero es que no veo nada ya jajaja. 
Llevo una semana, de mañana y tarde, haciéndolo. ¡Con lo rápido -relativamente- que hubiera sido con Photoshop! T_T Pero es que es un trabajo de clase y tenía que ser con Illustrator. 

Sólo diré para terminar que hoy volveré a soñar con vectores y que ya escribiré un poco más en otro momento porque hay detalles que puse como las gafas, etc, así que ahí tenéis el resultado final (tiene detalles que se aprecian con zoom pero os cuelgo una imagen más pequeña ahora).


Well... I don't know how to start, right now I have just finish this illustration, it's fresh from the oven  and I am so tired that I need to give it a final look to see if there is something else to retouch, but I don't see anything already ahhaha.
It took me a week, morning and afternoon, doing it. How fast - relatively-had been with Phothoshop! T_T But it is a classwork and it must to be made with Illustrator.

I just say to finish that today I'll back to dream with vectors and I'll write a little more in another moment bcause there are details that I draw as the glasses, etc, so there you have the final result (it have details that you can appreciate with zoom but I show you a smaller image now).

Retrato vectorial

Por fin, tras horas y horas de trabajo, os puedo mostrar el resultado final de la vectorización del rostro de Angelina Jolie.
La verdad es que no tengo mucho que contar, más que habilidad, hace falta mucha paciencia y conocer un poco el comportamiento del color en la malla de degradado según la posición de los nodos. Reconozco que a veces se hace algo lioso.

Debo admitir que ahora valoro mucho más los diseños de los ilustradores vectoriales, y me gusta saber cuando reconocer algo por su trabajo.

Finally, after hours and hours of work, I can show you the final result of Angelina Jolie's face vectorized.
The truth is that I haven't much to tell, more than skill, it takes a lot of patien and to know a little of color behaviour in the gradient mesh to the nodes positions. I recognize sometimes it makes itself confusing.

I must admit that now I appreciate even more others illustrators vector design, and I like to know when to recognize something for their work.

"REVELA"

En clase de proyectos nos mandó el profesor a realizar un proyecto personal, ya sea relacionado con el  diseño o para ofrecer algo nuevo a Cádiz, mi idea fue la de crear una asociación de audiovisuales gratuita donde todos aprenderíamos el lenguaje del cine colaborando unos con otros.

Aquí os muestro el resultado (aunque este no es el trabajo final, es sólo una parte).


In projects classes the teacher asked us to create a personal project, whether related with graphic design or something new to offer to Cádiz, my idea was to create a free audiovisuals association where everybody can learn the film language collaborating with each other.

Here I show you the result (although this is not the final work, it's just a part of it).

Tipografía gótica. Gothic typography

Trabajo de la asignatura de tipografía. Cada uno en la clase escogió una frase que debía escribir con tipografía gótica, dándole un toque más moderno. Está realizado con la tableta gráfica, en illustrator.

Mi frase la saqué de un episodio de Star Wars The Clone Wars que dice así: "La venganza es una confesión de dolor", pero como teníamos que usar unas cuatro palabras lo modifiqué.

Éste es el resultado, los colores los elegí para que fueran agresivos.

A typographic classwork. Each one of my classmates chose a sentence which they have to write with gothic typography, give it a touch more modern. Made with a graphic tablet, with Illustrator.

I took my sentence from a Star Wars The Clon Wars episode which it says: "Revenge is a confession of pain", but as we had to use about four words I modified it.

This is the result, the colors I have choosen to were aggressives.

Rostro vectorial. Vector face

Aunque voy a infringir mi norma no escrita de no subir nada que no esté terminado, llevo varios días sin actualizar mi blog cuando lo tenía pensado hacer con más regularidad (cosa que he estado haciendo hasta no hace mucho). El problema es que estoy realizando varios trabajos y todos ellos requieren muchas horas y, como tengo que hacerlos todos al mismo tiempo, tengo que repartir el tiempo, por lo que el resultado final se retrasa. 

Así que os voy a mostrar un trabajo de clase hecho con Illustrator, usando nada más que la herramienta malla de degradado, con ella pretendo dibujar (de forma lo más realista que puedo ahora mismo) el rostro de una persona. Para este caso, buscando fotografías por internet, me pillé una imagen de Angelina Jolie.

Yo trabajo con la malla encima de la cara, pero para mostrároslo la he duplicado y puesto al lado de la plantilla. A la izquierda os muestro la malla y a la derecha como está el resultado ahora mismo. Aún me queda por suavizar parte de la piel, añadir ojos, labios y el pelo.

Although I'm going to break my own not-to-upload-something-unfinished unwritten rule, I've been several days without refreshing my blog when I had thought to do it more regulary (I've been doing it until recently). The problem ir that I'm making several works and all of them need so many hours and, as I have to make it at the same time, I have to devide the time, so the final result is delayed.
So I'm going to show you a classwork made with Illustrator, using gradient mesh tool only, with it I pretend to draw (the most realistic way as possible right now) a person's face. To this case, looking for photographies by internet, I caught an Angelina Jolie's picture.

I work with the mesh over the face, but I've duplicated it to show you and put them together next to the template. On the left there is the mesh and on the right the result right now. I still have to smooth some part of the skin, add the eyes, lips and hair.

Diseño de reloj de vinilo

Otro trabajo de clase, de la asignatura de Proyectos. 

Diseño de vinilo para un reloj de pared. Los requisitos eran que el formato máximo permitido sea de 1x1m y fuera de una sola tinta. Por mi parte quise jugar con los conceptos del tiempo para el ser humano y la vida en general.

"El tiempo olvida" Con el paso del tiempo los recuerdos pasan a desvanecerse en nuestra mente, las personas que pasan por nuestras vidas, si se van, al cabo del tiempo incluso nos cuesta recordar sus rostros, sus voces... y, por su puesto, con el tiempo, llega la muerte. Pero no todo es negativo, ni triste, "el tiempo olvida" también puede sugerir heridas que sanan, o problemas que se dejan a un lado.
La representación de este concepto lo decidí hacer con la silueta del rostro de una persona, la cual se desconoce su identidad, mientras se desvanece en el aire en una bandada de pájaros que terminan colocándose en los ejes de los números del reloj.

Another classwork, from Projects subject.
A vinyl design wall clock. The requirements are that the maximum format allowed was 1x1m and one only ink.  For my part I wanted to play with the time concepts for being human and life in general.

"Time forgets" With the pass of time memories get to dissapear in our mind, the people who pass through our lifes, if they go, even after time it's difficult to us to remember their faces, their voices... and, of course, over time, death comes. But all is not negative, neither sad, "time forgets" may also suggest wounds getting heal, or problems left apart.

I decided this concept representation with the face silhouette of a person, whose identity is unkown, while it melts into air in a flock of birds which ends putting them in the clock numbers axes.

Moderno Vs Posmoderno

Para un trabajo de clase de tipografía, es la realización de un cartel donde debemos representar lo moderno en contraposición a lo posmoderno, todo ello sólo y exclusivamente usando tipografía (con una lista de atributos de cada uno). 

Mi intención fue basarme en los lemas de cada movimiento, en el moderno es "Menos es más" y el posmoderno se burla de éste diciendo que "Más es más".

Este es el primer trabajo que realizo, estoy en proceso de mejorarlo y crear otro, que será el que presente en clase.

For a typography classwork, it's a poster where we have to represent the "modern" in opposite with "postmodern", all of it using typography only (with a attributes list of each one).
My intention was to be based in each movements' theme, in modern is "less ir more" and postmodern mocks of it saying "more is more".
This is my first work that I make, I'm in process to improve it and to create another more, I think it will be which I presenting in class.

Cortinilla de "cuatro". Bumper of "cuatro"

Siento la tardanza, he estado ocupada con mi propio entrenamiento personal (físico y artístico, el nuevo estilo que pretendo aprender me está costando) además, he tenido de golpe varios trabajos de clase. Éste es uno de ellos, una cortinilla para "Cuatro", realizado con Adobe Illustrator y guardado en Flash.
Los requisitos del profesor eran los siguientes: duración de 5 segundos y que empiece y termine con el mismo color corporativo.


So sorry for the delay, I've been busy with my own personal training (physical and artistic, the new style that I pretend to learn it's giving me problems), besides, I've had at the same time several classwork. This is one of them, a "Cuatro" bumper, made with Adobe Illustrator and saved in Flash.
The teacher requirements were the next: 5 seconds long and its opening and ending have to be with the same corporate color.
